Partnership Delivers Frontline Success
Fosters is keen to upskill their workplace team leaders and supervisors to ensure that they are able to handle the people skills associated with their role of leading others. In partnership with Australia-wide Business Training (awbt) Fosters’ highly qualified and skilled trainers developed and delivered a series of workshops linked to an accredited course.
awbt competency mapped the Fosters workshops to the Certificate IV In Business (Frontline Management) and provided each participant with the full course material.
Assessments were also designed in partnership, with awbt and Fosters collaborating on appropriate content for assignments and a final project and workplace journal. awbt assessed and ultimately awarded the nationally recognised qualification.
Participants embraced the program as it provided them with a structure to help develop ideas and implement these in the workplace. “The ability to have some guidance and tools to use instead of trying to learn it through trial and error was a great benefit and it lowered the amount of mistakes I may have made along the way”, one participant commented.
Fosters and awbt have forged a true partnership arrangement where private enterprise and a Registered Training Organisation have achieved a win win – Fosters provides business focused training for their people on the program developing skills to equip them in their role of leadership; and they gain a nationally recognized qualification to go with that!
