awbt David Dandie Award for Excellence
2009 winner - Ljilja Radojcic TLC Aged Care
awbt Chief Executive Larry Gould has recently announced the winner for the awbt David Dandie Award for Excellence 2009.
The winner is Ms Ljilja Radojcic, Procurement Officer of TLC Aged Care, for her submission related to the preparation of a tender document for the provision of laundry services across the nine residences of the business. This tender document was a wonderful example of a continuous improvement activity for the business as the work entailed an evaluation of current practices and where potential savings could be made.
At the award ceremony in front of Lil's peers at TLC Support Centre in Victoria, Joy Bernard, awbt's Head of Curriculum, praised Lil on her submission and her on-going commitment to business improvement at TLC. Joy said that Lil was a role model for TLC staff because of her commitment to achieving improved business outcomes, and also for the current and future participants on the Diploma of Management program at TLC. Lil is a very worthy winner of the award and awbt is proud to be able to recognise her success.
The annual award is bestowed upon a person who is enrolled on an accredited program and who submits a final workplace project which displays vision, innovation and quality, a focus on outcomes, a commitment to making a difference and a leadership style which is people focused.
